Research: Vendor Landscape In Vietnam

How To Read This Page

This page mixes two evidence layers:

  • official product-family evidence for how each brand positions itself globally or regionally
  • local market signals for whether the brand clearly shows up in Vietnam through distributors, local sites, or active reseller coverage

If a vendor has strong global positioning but weak Vietnam proof in this page, this should be interpreted as presence may exist, but local channel strength still needs confirmation.

Brand Notes

Samsung

Samsung Flip Pro can be classified as a collaboration surface that can work in both schools and offices. Its official Vietnam product pages emphasize low-latency writing, up to 20 simultaneous touch points, USB-C, AirPlay 2, SmartView+, and Workspace access rather than a school-admin-heavy platform narrative.[^1]

In Vietnam, Samsung Flip has clear channel evidence because CMS publicly states it is the exclusive distributor of Samsung Flip in Vietnam.[^2]

Promethean

Promethean is the most education-specialized vendor in this comparison set. ActivPanel 9 is presented as a secure, teacher-centered interactive display for schools, with emphasis on Vellum writing, OTA updates, cloud-based user profiles, and school IT administration.[^3]

Its Vietnam signal is also strong. CMS publicly markets Promethean as an official smart education solution distributed in Vietnam and specifically names ActivPanel 9 in that local positioning.[^4]

BenQ

BenQ sits mainly in the education IFPD lane in this track. The current RP04 line is framed around EDLA, Google Play access, classroom software, NFC-based teacher workflow, and centralized device management.[^5]

For Vietnam visibility, BenQ has a dedicated Vietnam IFP presence and corporate interactive display pages, which is enough to treat it as an active market participant rather than only an imported edge case.[^6]

ViewSonic

ViewSonic is relevant because it combines education language, Google ecosystem positioning, myViewBoard software, and device management in one coherent family. The EDLA-certified ViewBoard line is especially relevant when app ecosystem and Google Workspace access matter.[^7]

Local market proof in this KB is lighter than Samsung or Promethean, but CMS publicly lists ViewSonic in its distribution portfolio, which is enough to keep ViewSonic in the Vietnam comparison set.[^8]

LG

LG CreateBoard is a bridge line between school and workplace language. LG talks about classrooms and boardrooms on the same family page while also highlighting EDLA, Android 13, remote management, 40-point multi-touch, and large size coverage up to 98".[^9]

For Vietnam, this KB has local reseller evidence rather than a single confirmed national distributor narrative. That is enough to treat LG as locally visible, but not enough yet to assume uniform after-sales structure across all projects.[^10]

MAXHUB

MAXHUB is the strongest hybrid-room specialist in this page. XBoard V7 is positioned around built-in AV, Windows-based meeting workflows, BYOM, and room-ready collaboration. Microsoft also lists MAXHUB XBoard touchboards in the Teams Rooms on Windows certification program, which materially changes how serious the line is for enterprise meeting rooms.[^11][^14]

In Vietnam, the market signal is visible through both a local brand or distributor-style site and reseller listings for XBoard models.[^12][^13]

Practical Reading For Reviewers

The initial comparison set in this track includes:

  • Samsung
  • Promethean
  • BenQ
  • ViewSonic
  • LG
  • MAXHUB

An initial category reading for the most clearly positioned brands is:

  • Promethean = education-first
  • Samsung Flip = collaboration-first
  • MAXHUB XBoard = hybrid-room-first

The others sit in the middle and require more use-case discipline during review.
